the prog he means is called "quark express" i guess. they used it in the advertising agency i worked 7 months long. but its not helpful designing wallies.
i recommend the programm photoshop (7.0). you need a lot of practise to understand how it all works, but it's worth doing it. it's all learning by doing... ^^
